“The Symbolic and Metaphorical Art of Spazz Arcane”

Description of Exhibit: 'Behind the shapes and colors to be found on the picture-surface, there is always something else, another realm, another order of meaning.'-Edward Lucie Smith

Artist Bio: As a young boy I spent a lot of time sailing the Mississippi River with my brother Jeremy. We would just float around and drink Pa's moonshine while dropping quarter sticks of dynamite in the river, that's how you catch breakfast, lunch, and dinner in one shot.

Then I had revelations!

I combed my hair, brushed my pearly whites, and headed for the western frontier. When I got there, I was greeted by a group of free men and women, who lived for no man and no man lived for them. They told me to walk my own road armed with nothing but my own vision. After traveling the hill sides with them for 16 years, I settled in Lancaster County, PA.

I currently create mixed media art work and expose the future generations to the world of free thinking. I've also been known for a peculiar sense of humor.

The display will open August 1st First Friday and will continue through August 30th, 2008.

First Friday Reception 5pm - 9pm
